Short answer
Add the account in the Gmail app, Outlook or iPhone Mail as an IMAP account. Use your full email address and its password; incoming server mail.yourdomain on port 993 (SSL) and outgoing server mail.yourdomain on port 465 (SSL). cPanel shows the exact settings under Email Accounts → Connect Devices.
The settings
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Account type | IMAP (keeps mail in sync on all devices) |
| Username | Your full email address, e.g. [email protected] |
| Password | The email account’s password |
| Incoming server | mail.yourdomain (for example mail.yourbusiness.co.za), port 993, SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing (SMTP) server | mail.yourdomain, port 465, SSL/TLS, sign-in required |
For the exact server names for your account, open cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices next to the address.
