Short answer
Yes, on every Hostnali web hosting plan except Starter. Standard, Executive and Platinum include a free domain for the first year; you choose it at checkout and it renews at the normal domain price after that. On Starter, you register a domain separately or use one you already own.
Which plans include a free domain
| Plan | Free domain | Websites |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | No | 1 |
| Standard | Yes, first year | 5 |
| Executive | Yes, first year | Unlimited |
| Platinum | Yes, first year | Unlimited |
Standard is R 627 a year with the domain included, and it hosts up to 5 websites, so it is often the better deal than Starter plus a separate domain.
How to claim it
- Choose a Standard, Executive or Platinum plan on the web hosting page.
- At checkout, pick Register a new domain and search for the name you want, for example yourbusiness.co.za.
- Complete the order. The domain and the hosting are set up together and already connected, so you can install WordPress straight away.
What happens after the first year
The domain renews at the normal price for its extension, for example R 225 a year for .co.za. You get a renewal invoice by email before it is due, payable by card or bank transfer. Keep auto-renewal on so the name never lapses: an expired domain takes your website and email offline.
Already have a domain?
Keep it where it is and point it to your hosting, or transfer it to Hostnali so domain and hosting are billed and supported in one place.
Good to know
- The domain is registered in your name, and you can move it to another registrar whenever you like.
- Every plan also includes free SSL, so your site opens on https:// from day one.
- On Starter, add a domain from R 150 for .co.za.
